The medal Drill, 2010

My comment on the 2010 oil catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico shows an allegory of greed in the shape of a humanoid drill running out of control, plunging not only the immediate ocean flora and fauna into the abyss but ultimately himself as well.
Our excessive exploitation of natural resources is a general one and not limited to a single country or company. Nevertheless, for this medal I wanted to use colours that point to the BP Group, which uses the colours yellow and green in its new logo, something that seems extremely cynical to me in this context.
